Business Intelligence

Power BI reports people actually use.

Your numbers, up to date every day, in one place. No exports, no copy-paste from Excel. One solid data model, clear KPIs and reports that refresh themselves. Training and a rollout your team truly picks up are part of it.

/ Why it matters

Decisions get better when data is clean, current, trusted.

We start with the outcome, pick the tech after. The job is not a dashboard, it's a new habit.

  • Hours saved on manual reporting every month
  • One version of the truth for your KPIs
  • Faster month-end close, less reconciliation work
  • Clear ownership, trusted datasets and clear ground rules
  • Reports people actually use, with screens tailored to their role
  • Decisions backed by current, trusted data
/ Example use cases

Where Power BI usually pays back first.

A handful of reports covers most of the reporting burden in a mid-sized company. These are the ones teams reach for.

Leadership

Leadership scorecard

Strategic KPIs on a single page with drill-through to drivers. Board packs generated in one click instead of one afternoon.

Finance

Finance

P&L and balance trends, cash forecasting, month-end automation. The numbers the CFO sees are the numbers in the ERP.

Sales

Sales

Pipeline health, win-loss, pricing and margin analytics by segment. Pick the deals worth chasing on Monday morning.

Purchasing & Inventory

Purchasing & inventory

Supplier performance, stock turns, slow-moving items, demand forecasting. Fewer stockouts, less dead stock.

Operations

Operations

Throughput, SLA monitoring, exception alerts. The floor manager gets pinged before the customer does.

HR & People

HR & people

Headcount, absence, turnover, skills coverage. A calm monthly view of the workforce trends that hiring and engagement actually hinge on.

/ What we deliver

What you get, besides the reports.

Every engagement covers the build, the rollout and the knowledge transfer. Nothing stays dependent on us after handover.

i.

Reports & dashboards

Executive, finance, sales, purchasing, operations, HR. KPI frameworks, mobile-ready role-based views, and consistent visual language.

ii.

Data models & refresh

A clean data model, one source of truth and reports that refresh themselves. We use Microsoft Fabric and dataflows where they actually add value.

iii.

Rollout & ground rules

Getting the right people involved early, champions inside each team, clear access rights and trusted datasets. Training that leaves your team independent.

/ People actually pick it up

How reports become a habit.

Change only holds when people understand why, how and what it means for their own work. We design the rollout around real habits, not a pretty screenshot.

  • Getting the right people aligned before a single visual is built
  • Champions and training during rollout, not after
  • Clear ground rules and support once things are live
  • Honest communication and short feedback loops
  • Clean, minimal layouts and consistent design patterns
  • Business language, not acronyms and technical jargon
  • Defaults that cut clicks and make the next step obvious
  • Tracking what gets used, and fixing what doesn't

Outcome: not just reports, but new habits.

/ Our approach

How we run a reporting project.

Each step is short. Each step has someone accountable on your side. Nothing gets built without you knowing about it.

i.

Discover

Map goals, users, and decisions. Identify the data we have and the gaps we don't yet.

ii.

Prototype

Ship a clickable draft in Power BI within days. Validate KPIs and logic with real users before we build the model.

iii.

Build

Engineer a clean data model, the visuals, and the refresh. Document every design decision.

iv.

Rollout

Train, communicate, prepare support. Measure adoption from day one.

v.

Upskill

Enable self-service for everyday questions. Keep the core datasets governed so answers stay consistent.

vi.

Evolve

Review usage and impact. Iterate on what the business needs next, not what we guessed up front.

/ Questions we get

Frequently asked, straight answers.

If your question isn't here, ask it on a discovery call. We'd rather say "it depends, here's how" than give you a brochure answer.

How long does a typical project take?

Small scope: weeks. Multi-department scope: a few months. We prototype early so value shows up fast.

Do we need Microsoft Fabric?

Not always. We use Fabric when it lowers cost or complexity, not because it's new.

Can you work with our IT team?

Yes. We align on security, gateways, and data sources from day one.

What about data quality?

We build a pragmatic model and document data rules. We surface quality issues so they can be fixed at the source.

Which data sources can you connect?

SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central, SQL Server, Excel, CSV, SharePoint, and common cloud apps. If a connector exists, we likely support it. We've yet to find a system we can't reach.

What licenses do we need for Power BI?

Usually Power BI Pro for creators and viewers. For wide sharing or large datasets, Premium or PPU may be more cost-effective. We help you pick.

Where does our data live?

In your Microsoft 365 tenant. On-prem data stays on-prem via a secure gateway. We follow GDPR and your security policies.

Do you provide support after go-live?

Yes. Options include a success plan, a pack of support hours, or an SLA with monthly health checks.

How do you measure success?

Whether people use it, and whether it makes a difference. We track usage, refresh reliability and how decisions actually get made, and review them with you.

Can you embed reports in Teams or SharePoint?

Yes. We surface key dashboards where your teams already work.

Can you train non-technical users?

Yes. Role-based sessions for leaders, analysts, and frontline teams, with practical playbooks.

Can we start even if our data is messy?

Yes. We deliver quick wins while surfacing data issues and fixing them at the source with you.

Do you sign NDAs and handle confidentiality?

Yes. We work under NDA on request and follow your information-handling rules.
