About Cegid

The French software group that already runs your accounting, payroll or store.

Cegid was founded in 1983 in Lyon by Jean-Michel Aulas and grew into the dominant French enterprise software group across accounting, ERP, payroll, HR and retail. Silver Lake took the company private in 2017, and in 2021 KKR joined as a minority shareholder at a €5.5 billion enterprise value, with AltaOne still on the cap table. The 2022 combination with Iberian software group Grupo Primavera widened the footprint across France, Spain, Portugal and Latin America. The portfolio today covers Cegid Loop (cloud accounting for the expert-comptable firms), Cegid XRP Flex (cloud ERP for mid-market companies, also branded Cegid Y2 in older accounts), Cegid HR (the HR and talent suite, including the former Talentsoft assets acquired in 2021), Cegid Retail and Cegid Orli (unified commerce for retail and fashion), and Cegid Allmybanks (treasury).

Pulling Cegid into a warehouse matters because almost no Cegid customer runs only one Cegid product. A Walloon group with a French subsidiary on Cegid Loop, an industrial site on XRP Flex and a retail arm on Cegid Retail has three Cegid databases and one French DGFiP filing obligation across them. This connector lifts the journals, third parties (clients, fournisseurs), invoices and product or store data out of the Cegid module the customer is on, and lands them in the warehouse next to Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe and Shopify. The group P&L, the cross-entity DSO and the store-versus-finance reconciliation become one query, not three Cegid logins and a Friday afternoon.

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Are clients and suppliers coded the same way across Cegid Loop and Cegid XRP Flex?

Third-party tables from each Cegid module sit next to each other in the warehouse, with the same client appearing under different SIRET-keyed identifiers reconciled into one. Catches the customer who looks healthy in one entity and is on stop-credit in another, which the consolidated AR ageing was hiding.

Does the group P&L tie back to what each Cegid module posted?

Posted journals straight out of Cegid (Loop, XRP Flex, Retail) sit in the warehouse with their original chart-of-account, journal code and analytics code. The group P&L is built on those rows, so any drift between what a French entity filed for DGFiP and what the group consolidation shows is one query, not a quarterly reconciliation pack.

Where is gross margin being made across boutiques?

Cegid Retail sales per SKU, store and currency lined up with the cost data in Cegid XRP Flex or in the central ERP. Reveals the boutique pulling top-line growth on discounted lines that have given up margin, which the central P&L hides at the country level.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Group P&L, DSO and intercompany drift across Cegid Loop, XRP Flex and Cegid HR, refreshed daily. The group close stops waiting on the controller exporting from each Cegid module by hand.

For sales leaders

Pipeline-to-invoice tracked from Salesforce or HubSpot through Cegid invoices and AR aging. Sales sees which deal types pay slowest, not just which ones close.

For operations

Cegid Retail sell-through per boutique, Cegid HR labour cost per cost centre and stock from XRP Flex on one board. Store managers and HR business partners read the same numbers as finance.

Ideas

What you can automate with Cegid.

Pair with Salesforce

Turn Salesforce closed-won into Cegid invoices

Closed-won Salesforce opportunities push into Cegid (Loop or XRP Flex, depending on the entity) as customers and invoices, with the right journal code, VAT rate and analytics. Invoice status and paid-amount flow back to the opportunity, so sales sees which deals turned into cash, not just signed.

Pair with Stripe

Reconcile Stripe payouts against Cegid AR

Stripe payouts and individual charges sit next to Cegid AR in the warehouse, matched on customer, invoice and amount. The AR clerk stops chasing customers who already paid through Stripe, and the gap between Stripe gross, fees and the bank deposit lines up to the Cegid posting.

Pair with Shopify

Post Shopify orders into Cegid Retail

Shopify orders, refunds and gift-card movements push into Cegid Retail with the right boutique, currency and SKU mapping. Online and physical-store sales sit on the same Cegid customer and SKU, so omnichannel margin and stock are one view instead of a Shopify export reconciled against a Cegid Retail report at month-end.

Pair with HubSpot

Hand HubSpot deals to Cegid as customers and draft invoices

Closed-won HubSpot deals create or update Cegid customers and prepare draft invoices in the right Cegid module, with the right entity, currency and analytics code. Marketing reports ROI against booked Cegid revenue, not against deal-stage value that never invoices.

Three steps

From Cegid to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Cegid connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Which Cegid product does this connector pull from?

Cegid is a multi-product platform. The connector reads from the Cegid module the customer is on: most often Cegid Loop (cloud accounting for accounting firms and SMEs) or Cegid XRP Flex (cloud ERP for mid-market, in older accounts still called Cegid Y2), with separate scopes for Cegid HR (the suite that absorbed Talentsoft) and Cegid Retail. Groups running more than one Cegid product land each module in its own schema in the warehouse, so a Loop entity and an XRP Flex entity can be consolidated without forcing one chart of accounts on both.

Does this work for a Walloon firm running Cegid alongside a Belgian-tax setup?

Yes. Cegid is the dominant accounting and ERP vendor in France and is widely used by Walloon firms with French exposure or French-headquartered ownership. The connector keeps the French DGFiP-required journal export shape on the French entities, while Belgian-VAT detail for Walloon entities can be kept in the Belgian system in parallel and joined in the warehouse. The group P&L is built once on top, instead of two reporting lines being kept by hand.
