About Facebook Ads

Paid media that has to pay back.

Facebook Ads is Meta's advertising platform, covering Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and the Audience Network. At the data level it exposes campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, audiences, placements and a long list of performance insights through the Marketing API.

The point of pulling Facebook Ads into a warehouse is that Meta's reports are attributed by Meta, in a window Meta picks, against the events the Meta pixel fires. That is useful for intraday optimisation and not enough for the question about which social ads produced customers who bought and stayed. Next to your CRM, Shopify or Klaviyo data, social ad spend gets measured against revenue that cleared, not against reach that was served.

What your Facebook Ads data is for

What you get once Facebook Ads is connected.

Revenue-grounded ad reporting

Reach and CPM next to cleared revenue and LTV, per campaign and per creative.

  • Spend versus paid revenue, per campaign and per ad set
  • Customer acquisition cost by placement and objective
  • Blended picture across Meta, Google Ads and other paid channels

Ad automation

Let Meta campaigns react to the business data already sitting somewhere else.

  • Sync high-LTV customer lists as lookalike seed audiences
  • Push CRM-closed revenue as offline conversions
  • Pause ad sets when blended CAC exceeds target

AI workflows

Turn ad-spend history into scoring that reshapes the next creative test.

  • Creative-fatigue detection before CPC drifts up
  • Audience-quality scoring beyond Meta's match rate
  • Budget-pacing forecasts across Meta and Google Ads

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools around Meta data that the business keeps asking for in slide decks.

  • Agency-facing brief with revenue context per campaign
  • Finance-side cost per paying customer by product line
  • Creative-testing board with outcome over fourteen days

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Which campaigns produced customers who stayed?

Meta campaign spend matched to lifetime value in your CRM, Shopify or Stripe, twelve months out. Ranks the campaigns whose customers kept buying next to the campaigns whose customers left before the second order.

Are we paying Meta to reach our existing customers?

Retargeting spend next to CRM match, per audience. Surfaces the retargeting ad sets whose audiences are already your paying customers, so the budget is reserving attention that was never at risk.

Which creative is fatiguing before Meta says so?

Creative-level CPC and conversion trend over the last fourteen days, against the fatigue signals the Meta dashboard surfaces. Flags the ad whose economics are deteriorating before the built-in alert does.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Social ad spend against paid revenue and customer lifetime, not against Meta's own conversion count. The marketing budget defence moves from reach and CPM to euros spent and euros collected.

For sales leaders

First-touch Meta campaign visible on CRM contacts and deals, with outcome. Marketing hands over leads with the full ad context so reps stop asking where a lead came from.

For operations

Budget pacing, creative rotation and audience quality on one board, updated daily. Spend decisions happen on the same numbers the CFO will see at quarter-end, not on the Meta UI of the moment.

Ideas

What you can automate with Facebook Ads.

Pair with Shopify

Measure Facebook Ads against Shopify paid orders

Click-level cost from Meta sits next to the Shopify orders the same session produced, with refunds and fulfilment cost in the math. ROAS stops being the Meta-reported number and starts being the margin that stayed.

Pair with Klaviyo

Seed Meta lookalikes from Klaviyo high-value segments

High-LTV Klaviyo segments push to Meta as custom and lookalike audiences, and audience performance flows back as a Klaviyo-tagged list. Acquisition spend stops guessing at what a good customer looks like and starts reusing the definition that Klaviyo already has.

Pair with HubSpot

Attribute HubSpot deals to Facebook Ads sources

First-touch and last-touch Meta campaign, ad set and creative become fields on the HubSpot contact and deal. Marketing reports on closed-won revenue per creative instead of on pixel fires, and finance has the full paid-to-paid chain.

Pair with Salesforce

Feed Salesforce pipeline context back to Meta

Salesforce pipeline stage and closed-won revenue push back to Meta as offline conversions keyed on the original click. Advantage+ and Smart Bidding optimise against signed deals instead of lead-form submissions, which usually rebalances spend within weeks.

Three steps

From Facebook Ads to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Facebook Ads connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Does the sync cover multiple Business Manager and ad accounts?

Yes. Each ad account lands in its own warehouse schema with the Business Manager hierarchy preserved. Holding companies running many brands get per-brand isolation and a consolidated view at group level without flattening the tree.

Can you send warehouse-calculated conversions back via the Conversions API?

Yes. Once CRM-closed revenue or Stripe paid events are in the warehouse, we push them back to Meta via the Conversions API, deduplicated with pixel events. Advantage+ then optimises against outcomes that the business cares about, not only against the pixel.
