About RocketReach

Email and phone lookup at recruiter scale.

RocketReach was founded in 2015 in Seattle by Amit Shanbhag and is best known for one job: get a verified email address or direct phone number for a named professional, fast. The product is a search interface and an API on top of a contact-profile graph that the company describes as one of the largest in the industry, alongside a smaller company-side dataset for context.

The buyer mix is what makes RocketReach feel different from its sales-stack neighbours. Recruiting teams use it to reach passive candidates, sales and BD use it to break into named accounts, and customer-success leaders use it to find a new champion when the original one moves on. The Chrome extension and the API are the two surfaces most teams use day to day: the extension to grab a contact while reading a LinkedIn profile, the API to enrich records inside an ATS, a CRM or a custom workflow.

The reason to land RocketReach in a warehouse is that the lookup-credit metric only matters when it sits next to an outcome. Bounce rate on enriched emails, share of looked-up profiles that became a meeting or a hire, credit spend per recruiter versus per AE, and decay on cached profiles all live across RocketReach, the CRM, the ATS and the engagement tool. Inside the RocketReach console those numbers stay an internal usage report; in a warehouse they become a hiring and pipeline metric.

What your RocketReach data is for

What you get once RocketReach is connected.

Lookup spend versus outcome

Credit usage and email validity sitting next to ATS hires and CRM meetings.

  • Bounce and invalid-email rate per profile source and segment
  • Credit burn per recruiter and per AE, week on week
  • Share of looked-up profiles that became a hire or a booked meeting

Lookup feeding the right tool

RocketReach lookups land where the work happens, not just in a CSV.

  • Verified email and phone push to the matching CRM contact and ATS candidate
  • Bounced email triggers an automatic re-lookup or job-change check
  • New profile pulled by recruiting also enriches the sales record on the same person

AI on enrichment and reach

Train scoring and routing on which lookups end in real outcomes.

  • Score profiles on email-deliverability and reply likelihood by persona
  • Predict bounce risk on cached profiles before another credit is spent
  • Cluster looked-up titles to the personas that convert in your segment

Custom apps on your RocketReach data

Internal tools for sourcing leads, recruiting leads and RevOps.

  • Sourcing dashboard with cost per qualified candidate per recruiter
  • Account coverage view with looked-up versus unreached buying-committee seats
  • Credit-budget tracker by team, with alerts before the seat runs dry

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

What is the bounce rate on the emails RocketReach hands us?

Bounce, soft-bounce and invalid-title rate on RocketReach-sourced contacts, trended by quarter and split by recruiter versus sales seats. Tells the team when a lookup batch is producing more bounces than meetings, before the next mass send burns the sender domain.

How are we splitting RocketReach credits across recruiting, sales and CS?

Credit consumption by user and team, joined to ATS hire outcome, CRM meeting outcome and CS retention play. Shows finance whether the seats are paying for themselves at the team level and not just in aggregate, and whether one team is silently subsidising another.

Which named accounts still have empty buying-committee seats?

RocketReach company graph cross-checked against the CRM account list and the engagement tool's contact roster. Surfaces target accounts where the procurement contact, the technical decision-maker or the economic buyer was never looked up, so SDRs and sourcers know where the next credit should go.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

RocketReach licence and credit spend tied to hires landed and meetings booked, split by team. Finance can see cost per hire on the recruiting seats and cost per meeting on the sales seats, instead of one blended seat-cost number that hides which team carries the contract.

For sales leaders

Lookup history, bounce rate and meeting outcome on every account an AE or SDR is working. Reps see which lookups produced replies in their segment and stop spending credits on titles that have never converted in the last two quarters.

For operations

Profile freshness, credit burn per seat and bounce-rate trends in one picture. Sourcing-ops and RevOps share the same view of which seats are productive, which lookup batches are stale, and where the buying-committee coverage has holes.

Ideas

What you can automate with RocketReach.

Pair with HubSpot

Push RocketReach lookups onto HubSpot contacts and companies

Verified email, direct phone, title and company data from RocketReach lands on the matching HubSpot contact and company, with the lookup event on the contact timeline. AEs open a record and see the freshest verified email plus the credit cost of getting it, and marketing builds workflows that only fire on contacts whose email was verified within the last quarter.

Pair with Salesloft

Feed Salesloft cadences from a fresh RocketReach lookup

When a sales rep looks up a contact in RocketReach for an ICP-matched account, the verified email and phone land on the matching Salesloft person and the contact enters the right cadence with the lookup source tagged. SDR leadership can compare reply and meeting yield on RocketReach-sourced cadences against the rest of the contact base, per segment and per rep.

Pair with BambooHR

Close the loop from RocketReach sourcing to BambooHR hire

RocketReach lookup events on candidate profiles join BambooHR new-hire records on email and name, so sourcing teams see which sourced candidates ended in a signed offer and which never made it past first contact. Recruiting leadership reviews cost per hire on the RocketReach seat against the actual hires that landed in the HRIS, per requisition and per recruiter.

Pair with Slack

Post RocketReach lookup wins and credit alerts in Slack

A successful lookup on a target account, a champion's job-change pickup, or a seat about to run out of credits posts into the right Slack channel, tagged to the owner. Sourcing-ops see budget pressure before month-end and AEs pick up champion follow-ups without watching a queue.

Three steps

From RocketReach to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • RocketReach connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

How do we split RocketReach credits fairly between recruiting and sales?

In the warehouse we tag every lookup with the team and seat that triggered it, then join to BambooHR hire outcomes for the recruiting seats and to CRM meeting outcomes for the sales seats. Finance and ops review cost per hire and cost per meeting side by side per quarter, which usually settles the budget conversation faster than a single blended seat-cost number ever did.

Can we stop bounced RocketReach emails from poisoning our sender domain?

We land the bounce events from your engagement tool back next to the originating RocketReach lookup, so a profile that bounces twice is automatically queued for re-lookup or removed from active cadences. Sender-reputation health stays in the warehouse alongside the lookups that produced it, instead of in a separate deliverability dashboard nobody reads until something breaks.
