About SendCloud

The shipping layer most Benelux webshops already run on.

SendCloud was founded in Eindhoven in 2012 by three former webshop operators who wanted to stop managing carrier labels by hand. It now serves around thirty thousand merchants across Europe, with integrations into more than a hundred and sixty carriers and into all the e-commerce platforms most Benelux brands run on: Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and increasingly the marketplaces.

The point of pulling SendCloud into a warehouse is that shipping cost and carrier choice sit inside the order's margin and most brands never model it that way. Free-shipping thresholds that work for one carrier destroy margin with another. Return cost varies by route, carrier and reason. Next to Shopify, Magento, Bol and the accounting ledger, SendCloud's shipment, carrier and return data makes fulfilment a first-class input to the margin conversation instead of a post-quarter surprise.

What your SendCloud data is for

What you get once SendCloud is connected.

Fulfilment-aware reporting

Shipping cost, carrier choice and return rate next to order margin, not in a separate PDF.

  • Landed cost per order, including the right carrier line
  • Return rate by carrier and by destination country
  • On-time delivery by carrier, lane and service level

Logistics automation

Let the stack pick the right carrier and push it through SendCloud.

  • Rule-based carrier selection on destination and weight
  • Return labels generated on Shopify customer request
  • Tracking pushed back to Bol and Magento for SLA

AI workflows

Use SendCloud history to pick cheaper shipping without losing SLA.

  • Cost-optimised carrier suggestion per route
  • Return-risk scoring on SKU, carrier and destination
  • Delivery-time forecasting against SLA commitments

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools on SendCloud data for people who should not be logging into SendCloud.

  • Warehouse dispatch board with margin-aware labels
  • Customer-service view with full shipment history
  • Executive board with shipping cost against order value

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Which orders are losing margin on shipping alone?

Order value against fully loaded shipping cost, per route and per carrier, ranked by absolute margin lost. Flags the SKU-destination combinations where the shipping line is eating the contribution before anything else does.

Which carrier routes are silently delivering late?

Delivery SLA attainment by carrier, lane and service level over rolling twelve weeks, next to customer service ticket volume on the same routes. Identifies the lane where a carrier change would reduce returns and tickets at the same time.

Is the free-shipping threshold earning its keep?

Orders just above the threshold against a baseline of natural order value distribution. Shows how many orders the threshold lifted, and how much margin was given back on the ones that would have ordered anyway.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Shipping cost, carrier mix and return cost tied to order margin. The fulfilment line on the P&L stops being a single number and becomes margin per route, per carrier and per destination country.

For sales leaders

Free-shipping threshold effectiveness per channel and product category, with discount leakage visible. Merchandising sees the thresholds that move incremental orders and the ones that just give margin back.

For operations

Carrier SLA, return routes and incident rates per lane. Carrier negotiation and routing-rule decisions happen against twelve months of actual shipments, not on the sales deck a carrier rep brought in.

Ideas

What you can automate with SendCloud.

Pair with Shopify

Route Shopify orders through SendCloud with margin rules

Shopify orders land in SendCloud with a carrier and service level picked against margin, weight and destination. Tracking flows back to the Shopify order and the customer, with return labels generated on the Shopify customer portal rather than by email.

Pair with Magento

Ship Magento orders through SendCloud

Magento orders drop into SendCloud with the right carrier rule, customs paperwork handled for non-EU destinations and return flow configured. The Magento order record reflects delivery status and return cost without a plugin that breaks on the next upgrade.

Pair with Bol

Fulfil Bol orders via SendCloud

Bol orders that ship from your own stock hand off to SendCloud, with tracking pushed back to Bol to keep the service SLA green. Shipping cost lands in the warehouse next to the Bol payout so marketplace margin reflects the real fulfilment line.

Pair with Exact Online

Book SendCloud invoices in Exact Online

SendCloud invoices, carrier surcharges and return-shipping costs post in Exact Online against the right cost centre and VAT treatment. Shipping stops being a single monthly number and becomes a detailed ledger line tied back to the orders it belongs to.

Data model

Tables we make available.

These are the 13 tables we currently pull from SendCloud into your warehouse. Query them directly in SQL, join them to the rest of your stack, or build reports on top.

Your existing tools

Your data lands in a warehouse. Your BI tools read from it.

You keep the reporting tool you already have. We connect it to the warehouse where your SendCloud data lives.

Three steps

From SendCloud to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • SendCloud connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Is carrier-level detail preserved in the warehouse?

Yes. Every shipment records the carrier, service level, surcharges, weight, destination and landed cost. That makes carrier-mix, route-level economics and SLA attainment all analysable in the same grain the operations team negotiates on.

How are returns handled?

Outbound and return shipments are linked on the same order so return cost, return rate and reason codes sit next to the original sale. That turns returns from a single KPI into a per-SKU and per-destination signal that informs product and merchandising decisions.
