About SendFox

The newsletter tool people finished setting up.

SendFox launched in late 2019 inside the AppSumo family, with Noah Kagan as the public face. The pitch was straightforward: a basic, affordable newsletter tool for creators, bloggers and small operators who looked at Mailchimp's per-contact pricing and walked away. The lifetime deal on AppSumo is still the way most accounts arrived, which is why you find SendFox running quietly under a personal blog, a small Shopify store, or a side-project newsletter that turned into a real audience.

The feature set stays small on purpose: lists and contacts, drag-and-drop campaigns, welcome sequences and behaviour-triggered automations, RSS-to-email for blog newsletters, simple landing pages and embedded forms, plus opens, clicks and unsubscribe tracking. The reporting inside the tool tops out at exactly that level. The moment you want to know which campaign paid for itself, which signup form brings in buyers, or what a SendFox subscriber is worth in Stripe twelve months later, the answer lives outside SendFox. That's what a warehouse is for.

What your SendFox data is for

What you get once SendFox is connected.

Campaign reporting that ends in revenue

The order next to the open, per campaign and per list.

  • Revenue per campaign, not only opens and clicks
  • Paid orders tied back to the SendFox send that triggered them
  • List-health trend across twelve months

Contact sync

Keep the SendFox lists in line with the system that decides who your customers really are.

  • Stripe customers land in the right SendFox list automatically
  • HubSpot lifecycle stage flows back as list membership
  • Calendly bookings push the contact into the welcome sequence

AI workflows

Turn years of SendFox campaign history into scoring that makes the next send smarter.

  • Churn-risk scoring on inactive contacts
  • Best-time-of-week model per list
  • Topic suggestion based on past click behaviour

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools for a creator team or one-person shop that SendFox's own UI does not ship.

  • Newsletter-ROI board with revenue per send
  • Subscriber-quality monitor across forms and landing pages
  • Unsubscribe review app for the weekly content call

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Which SendFox campaign paid for itself?

The send next to the paid orders attributed in the three weeks after delivery, broken down by list. Ranks the campaigns whose revenue covered the writing time and the discount code, and flags the ones that only moved existing demand around.

Which signup form brings real customers, not just contacts?

Form or landing page next to downstream conversion and ninety-day retention. The form that collects the most addresses is often not the one that brings in the contacts who buy.

What is a SendFox subscriber worth in twelve months?

Average revenue per subscriber by signup cohort and signup source, with the cost of acquiring them factored in. Turns the contact count on the dashboard into a number a CFO can defend.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Newsletter cost in the same picture as attributed revenue, per campaign and per cohort. The marketing line on the P&L is defended on paid orders in the weeks after a send, not on a screenshot of opens.

For sales leaders

SendFox lists that match your real customer list, kept in sync from Stripe, Shopify or HubSpot. Welcome sequences and win-back campaigns run on the real buying signal, not on a list last cleaned a year ago.

For operations

List health, unsubscribe rate and signup-source mix as a trend over twelve months. Deliverability is watched as a curve, not rediscovered the day inbox placement starts dropping.

Ideas

What you can automate with SendFox.

Pair with Stripe

Sync Stripe customers into SendFox lists

Active subscribers, failed-payment customers and churned accounts from Stripe each land in a named SendFox list. Reactivation mails and upsell campaigns are triggered on the real payment status, not on a tag someone last touched months ago.

Pair with HubSpot

Push HubSpot lifecycle stage into SendFox lists

Lifecycle stage and lead source from HubSpot drive SendFox list membership. The solo marketer stops keeping two tag systems in sync by hand and treats HubSpot as the source of truth for who gets which sequence.

Pair with Calendly

Trigger SendFox follow-up from Calendly bookings

A new Calendly booking creates or updates the contact in SendFox and drops them into the booking-specific list. The follow-up sequence runs without anyone copying email addresses around between calendar invites and a newsletter tool.

Pair with Slack

Post SendFox campaign results into Slack

When a campaign closes its three-week revenue window, opens, clicks and attributed paid orders land in the marketing Slack channel. The team reviews the actual outcome together instead of one person digging through the SendFox dashboard.

Pair with monday.com

Plan the editorial calendar in monday.com from SendFox results

Past SendFox open rates, click rates and attributed revenue per topic land on the monday.com editorial board. The next month of newsletters is planned next to the data that says which topics pulled their weight.

Pair with Exact Online

Match SendFox campaigns to Exact Online invoices

Newsletter-driven orders are joined back to the resulting Exact Online sales invoices, so attributed revenue is grounded in real bookkeeping rather than a marketing-side estimate. The CFO sees the same number as the marketing lead.

Three steps

From SendFox to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • SendFox connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

What does the SendFox API expose to a warehouse sync?

The public SendFox API covers contacts, lists and campaigns, plus an unsubscribe action. Automations, smart pages and per-recipient open and click events sit behind the dashboard rather than the public API, so the warehouse view is built around contacts, list membership and campaign-level results. That is enough to answer revenue per campaign and signup-source ROI; it is not enough to replay an automation node by node.

Does the lifetime-deal account get the same warehouse export as a paid plan?

Yes. The connector reads from the standard SendFox API with a personal access token, and the API does not change behaviour based on whether the account came from the AppSumo lifetime deal or the monthly plan. Contact, list and campaign history flow into the warehouse the same way.
