About Tally

The form builder that does not charge for the answers.

Tally is a form and survey builder out of a small bootstrapped European team that lets you write a form the way you write a Notion page: type the question, drop a block, set logic, publish. It supports the input types most teams actually need, including conditional logic, calculated fields, file uploads, electronic signatures and Stripe payment blocks, with almost every feature free regardless of volume.

The reason to pull Tally into a warehouse is that a submission is rarely the finish line. A lead-gen answer belongs on the contact in your CRM, a paid signup belongs next to the Stripe charge it produced, a product-feedback reply is only useful next to the customer and feature it refers to. On its own a Tally response is a row in an export; joined to your CRM, billing and product data it becomes a signal you can report on and automate against.

What your Tally data is for

What you get once Tally is connected.

Submission-grounded reporting

Form answers, completion rates and payment outcomes trended next to the customer and deal record they belong to.

  • Completion rate per form, question and traffic source
  • Paid signups per form joined to Stripe charge and plan
  • Lead-form answers joined to pipeline stage and won revenue

Submission-driven automation

Let a Tally submission fire the rest of your stack, with the context the form already gathered.

  • Lead-gen submission creates or updates the CRM contact with qualification fields
  • Paid signup provisions the account and pings the right Slack channel
  • Feedback reply with a low score opens a ticket on the right customer-success queue

AI workflows

Turn open-text answers into scoring and themes the team can act on.

  • Theme clustering on open feedback comments, per plan and tenure
  • Lead scoring on qualification answers joined to historical close rate
  • Intent classification on product-feedback replies, routed to the right team

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools on Tally data for people who do not live in the Tally dashboard.

  • Lead review queue with form answers, firmographics and scoring
  • Paid-signup console with form, Stripe charge and onboarding step
  • Product-feedback inbox with theme, quote and linked customer

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Which Tally lead-gen forms actually produce customers who close and stay?

Tally lead-form answers joined to CRM pipeline stage, won revenue and twelve-month retention. Separates the form whose leads look promising on submit and disappear from the pipeline, from the form whose leads go on to close and renew, per traffic source.

Do our Tally payment-block signups match the Stripe charges, or is there a reconciliation gap?

Tally submissions with a payment block matched to the Stripe charge they triggered, on amount, currency and customer email. Surfaces the submission that took the answer but never produced a charge, and the charge that has no Tally submission behind it, so the gap is a list of rows instead of a vague feeling.

Are we acting on Tally feedback fast enough, or is it sitting in an export?

Submission timestamp compared with the time a follow-up ticket, email or CRM note got opened on the same customer. Splits feedback that triggered an action within hours from feedback that sat untouched for days, per form and per team.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Tally payment-block signups reconciled with Stripe charges, plus lead-form submissions joined to pipeline stage and won revenue. Marketing spend on form fills gets defended on closed revenue per form, not on submission count.

For sales leaders

Qualification answers on the lead record before the first call, plus historical close rate per answer pattern. Reps stop re-asking what the Tally form already knows.

For operations

Completion rate, abandonment points and theme clusters across every customer-facing Tally form. Form ownership stops being a single-person side project and becomes a measurable part of the funnel.

Ideas

What you can automate with Tally.

Pair with HubSpot

Turn Tally submissions into HubSpot contacts with full context

Every Tally lead-gen submission pushes into HubSpot as a contact or updates the existing one, with answer fields, UTM, hidden fields and calculated scores mapped onto custom properties. Sales opens the record with the qualification already filled in, instead of reading a raw response export the next morning.

Pair with Stripe

Match Tally payment-block signups with the Stripe charges they produced

Tally submissions that include a payment block matched against the Stripe charge they triggered, on amount, currency and customer email. Finance gets one reconciled view of which submission led to which paid signup, and which submissions stopped at the answer without ever producing a charge.

Pair with Slack

Send Tally submissions to the right Slack channel with the answer attached

Tally submissions routed to a Slack channel based on form, score band or paid-vs-free signup, with the qualifying answers and Stripe amount inline. Sales sees a hot lead in the channel they already watch, instead of finding it later in a digest mail, and customer success sees low-score feedback the same day it lands.

Pair with Notion

Drop Tally feedback responses straight onto the Notion product roadmap

Tally product-feedback submissions land as pages in a Notion database alongside the roadmap and the feature requests already in flight, tagged by theme and customer plan. Product reviews the inbox the same way they review every other roadmap item, instead of opening a separate Tally tab.

Your existing tools

Your data lands in a warehouse. Your BI tools read from it.

You keep the reporting tool you already have. We connect it to the warehouse where your Tally data lives.

Three steps

From Tally to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Tally connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Do payment-block submissions come through with the Stripe charge information?

Yes. Tally submissions made through a payment block carry the amount, currency and respondent identity that Tally already collected, which is enough to match the row against the Stripe charge it triggered. The matched view is what finance uses to reconcile paid signups instead of comparing two unconnected exports.

Are hidden fields, UTM parameters and calculated scores preserved on each submission?

Yes. Tally hidden fields, URL parameters and calculated values land alongside the answers as structured columns, tied to the submission by id. Attribution and lead-scoring built on top of those fields keeps working in the warehouse exactly the way it worked at submission time.

How are multiple Tally workspaces and forms unified in the warehouse?

Each form keeps its identity through a workspace id and form id, and a single submissions table stitches them together with those keys plus the question id. Reporting can roll up across every form a team owns, or drill back down to a single question on a single form, without re-keying anything by hand.
