About ZKR

The Dutch compliance platform for Wwft-regulated firms.

ZKR is built in The Hague and serves Wwft-regulated organisations across Europe: accountancy practices, tax advisors, notaries, lawyers, real estate agents, trust offices, leasing and insurance companies, and specialised sectors like crypto and casino. The platform reports more than 8,000 users and 25 million checks performed, and is ISO 27001 certified.

The product groups four solution areas: compliance (PEP and sanctions screening, adverse media monitoring, customer acceptance workflows, UBO extracts), online identification (iDIN, ID document scans, liveness checks, IBAN verification), credit management (consumer and business credit reports), and legal (GDPR support, digital signatures, Wwft e-learning).

Pulling ZKR into a warehouse is not about replacing the compliance dashboard. It is about the questions that span tools: how long an onboarding really takes from first ID scan to first invoice in the accounting system, which client segments produce the most monitoring hits per quarter, and which partners or branches sit on stale reviews. Those answers live across ZKR's screening, ID and monitoring records; in a warehouse they sit next to your accounting and CRM data.

What your ZKR data is for

What you get once ZKR is connected.

Compliance reporting

One picture of onboarding, screening and review status instead of clicks per client in ZKR.

  • Onboarding time from first ID check to active client, per partner
  • Open PEP, sanctions and adverse-media hits per client segment
  • Review backlog by Wwft risk class and last review date

Compliance-stack automation

Keep ZKR aligned with the tools around it without the weekly reconciliation.

  • New ZKR-cleared clients into your accounting tool as approved relations
  • CRM stage moves only after the linked ZKR check is green
  • Slack or Teams pings when a high-risk client crosses a monitoring threshold

AI workflows

Use ZKR history to triage hits and flag review risk before it becomes a regulator question.

  • Hit-triage model on adverse-media noise versus real risk
  • Onboarding-slip forecast on missing documents per client
  • Review-due risk score per client based on segment and history

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools on ZKR data for people who should not be opening ZKR.

  • Partner workbench with onboarding status per client portfolio
  • Compliance officer dashboard of open hits and overdue reviews
  • Client-acceptance app that links ZKR results to the engagement letter

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Where in our portfolio is the Wwft review backlog sitting?

Clients past their next-review date, broken down by risk class, partner and office, with the gap in days. The compliance officer can see whether the backlog sits in one branch, with one partner, or in a particular client segment, instead of asking everyone to catch up at year-end.

Are we onboarding faster than last year, or only feeling like we are?

Onboarding time from first ID check to active client, trended per quarter and segmented by client type and partner. Splits the slip into the parts the firm can fix (missing documents, slow internal review) and the parts it cannot (third-party UBO retrieval delays).

Which adverse-media hits are real risk and which are noise?

Closed-as-not-relevant rate per adverse-media source and per client segment, with the average days a hit sits open before a decision. Tells the team where to tighten thresholds and which sources to weigh more heavily on next year's policy review.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Onboarding-to-invoice gap per client and partner, plus credit-check usage against billed engagements. Finance sees which compliance steps slow down revenue recognition and which credit checks were pulled but never tied to a fee.

For sales leaders

Win-to-active conversion split by where new clients drop off in the ZKR onboarding workflow. The next pricing or qualification call is informed by which segments survive screening fastest, not just which segments sign quickest.

For operations

Compliance work in flight per partner, office and risk class, alongside review backlog and average hit-resolution time. Team leads see the workload before it becomes a regulator audit finding.

Ideas

What you can automate with ZKR.

Pair with Exact Online

Promote ZKR-cleared clients into Exact Online

When a client clears the ZKR onboarding workflow, an approved relation lands in Exact Online with the right contact, VAT regime and ledger group, ready for the first invoice. Status changes (closed, blocked, risk class up) flow back, so the bookkeeper does not invoice a client whose ZKR file is on hold.

Pair with AFAS

Sync ZKR onboarding status into AFAS Profit

ZKR client status, risk class and last-review date land on the AFAS organisation card next to the financial relation, so the partner has the compliance picture without leaving AFAS. Onboarding steps still pending in ZKR show up as tasks in AFAS, with a one-click link back to the file.

Pair with Simplicate

Block Simplicate engagement start until ZKR is green

A new Simplicate engagement only moves from prospect to running once the linked ZKR check is approved. Project managers stop having to ask compliance whether they are allowed to log hours, and time written before clearance no longer becomes an awkward write-off.

Pair with Silverfin

Surface ZKR review status inside Silverfin client cards

The Silverfin client overview shows the ZKR risk class, last review date and any open monitoring hits next to the working file. The accountant sees a Wwft red flag on the same screen they review the trial balance, instead of context-switching to the compliance tool.

Pair with Microsoft Teams

Alert Teams when a ZKR monitoring hit needs a decision

A channel ping fires when a new PEP, sanctions or adverse-media hit lands on a client, with the partner and compliance officer tagged and a one-click link to the ZKR file. The decision happens in hours, not at the next monthly review meeting.

Pair with Anthropic Claude

Triage ZKR adverse-media hits with Claude

Adverse-media hits run through a Claude prompt that summarises the underlying article, scores the relevance to the client, and proposes a draft decision with reasoning. The compliance officer keeps the call but spends minutes per hit instead of an afternoon per batch, and the audit trail captures both the model output and the human override.

Pair with HubSpot

Hold HubSpot deals at closed-won until ZKR clears

A deal that hits closed-won in HubSpot triggers a ZKR onboarding workflow on the linked company, and the deal stage stays at a holding step until the check is green. Sales sees in HubSpot which deals are stuck on compliance, instead of chasing the partner by email.

Three steps

From ZKR to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • ZKR connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Which ZKR records does the connector cover?

The model covers the records that drive day-to-day reporting: clients and their risk class, ID and iDIN check results, PEP and sanctions screening hits, adverse-media findings, UBO extracts and review history. Embedded credit-management and legal modules are pulled where the firm uses them; we map what is in your tenant, not the full ZKR catalogue.

Does pulling ZKR into a warehouse affect the Wwft audit trail?

No. The audit trail stays inside ZKR, where the regulator expects to find it. The warehouse copy is a read-side mirror used for reporting, automation and AI; decisions and approvals continue to be recorded in ZKR itself, with a link back to the underlying record on every dashboard row.
