About Acumatica

The cloud ERP that grew up per industry edition.

Acumatica was founded in 2008 in Bellevue, Washington and is built on its xRP platform. Private equity owns the company, with EQT acquiring it in 2019 and Vista Equity Partners taking over in 2025. The product ships as industry editions: General Business, Distribution, Manufacturing, Construction, Retail and Professional Services. Pricing is per application and per projected resources (transaction volume, data storage), not per user, so growing teams stop counting seats and start watching the resource line.

Pulling Acumatica into a warehouse is not about reports Acumatica cannot draw. It is that an Acumatica customer almost always also runs Salesforce or HubSpot for the commercial motion, Shopify or BigCommerce for the digital channel, and Akeneo or a separate PIM for product data. The questions leadership asks sit between those systems. In a warehouse, Acumatica becomes the spine, and the customisations the team built on the xRP platform stop being a black box at month-end.

What your Acumatica data is for

What you get once Acumatica is connected.

Cross-system reporting

Acumatica numbers next to the systems sitting around it, not five Acumatica generic inquiries cross-checked by hand.

  • Margin per item, customer and branch
  • Working capital with AR, AP and inventory aging
  • Fulfilment SLA on sales orders by warehouse and channel

External-system automation

Keep Acumatica in sync with the systems it has to talk to, without another marketplace add-on per pair.

  • Salesforce closed-won into Acumatica sales orders
  • Shopify or BigCommerce orders into Acumatica with stock moves
  • Akeneo product master pushed into Acumatica items

AI workflows

Use Acumatica history to forecast stock, demand and customer risk on your own data.

  • Demand forecasting per item, branch and edition
  • Credit-risk scoring on customer payment behaviour
  • Resource-consumption forecasting against the next pricing tier

Custom apps on your data

Small tools on top of Acumatica data for people who do not need to log in to the ERP.

  • Sales reps see stock and margin at quote time
  • Project managers see WIP and billing without an Acumatica seat
  • Exec dashboards that do not slow during the close

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Where is margin really being made on this product line?

Gross margin per item and per customer, after purchase cost, freight and landed cost, with the discount stack visible. Ranks the items quietly draining margin alongside the ones carrying the line, not just the ones with the loudest revenue.

Are we about to outgrow our Acumatica resource tier?

Transaction volume, document counts and storage trended against the contracted resource line, with a forecast against the next pricing step. Finance sees the next-year pricing conversation coming six months out, not as a renewal-time surprise.

How does a Salesforce deal become recognised revenue in Acumatica?

Closed-won Salesforce opportunity tracked to Acumatica sales order, shipment, invoice and cash collection, with elapsed days at each hop. The handoff where the cycle stretches, or where revenue leaks between CRM and ERP, becomes visible per rep, branch and product.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Branch-level P&L, working capital and multi-entity consolidation across Acumatica tenants without the month-end merge. The next pricing tier is on the same dashboard as the AR aging, not in a separate spreadsheet the CFO finds at renewal.

For sales leaders

Pipeline-to-order-to-revenue timing per rep, branch and product line, tied back to Salesforce or HubSpot. Forecast accuracy is checked against Acumatica invoices, not against optimistic CRM stages.

For operations

Fulfilment SLA, purchase-to-pay cycle, supplier reliability and project WIP in one view. The handoffs between sales, warehouse and project delivery show up as data, not as Monday-morning chases.

Ideas

What you can automate with Acumatica.

Pair with Salesforce

Turn Salesforce opportunities into Acumatica sales orders

Closed-won Salesforce opportunities drop into Acumatica as sales orders, with customer, item and pricing mapped to the right branch. Order status, shipment and invoice flow back to the opportunity, so sales and finance see the same cycle from closed-won to cleared cash, instead of arguing across two reports.

Pair with Shopify

Flow Shopify orders into Acumatica with stock moves

Shopify orders land in Acumatica as sales orders with items, pricing and tax handled, plus the matching stock movements in the right warehouse. Refunds post as credit notes. The DTC channel sits in the same P&L as the rest of the business and stock stays in one ledger.

Pair with Exact Online

Sync Acumatica with a Belgian entity on Exact Online

For groups running Acumatica in the operating company and Exact Online in a Belgian or Dutch subsidiary, we align chart of accounts, sync customer and supplier masters, and push journal totals between the two. One consolidated group P&L without re-keying invoices on either side.

Pair with Akeneo

Push Akeneo product master into Acumatica items

Akeneo as the source of truth for product attributes, copy and media. Approved enrichments push into Acumatica as item records with categories, units of measure and pricing structure already in place. New SKUs are sellable on day one and product copy stays consistent across ERP, web and channels.

Your existing tools

Your data lands in a warehouse. Your BI tools read from it.

Three steps

From Acumatica to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Acumatica connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

What about the customisations our team built on the xRP platform?

Custom fields, custom inquiries and the data behind extensions built on the Acumatica Framework come across as first-class columns and tables in the warehouse. Reports keep working when the customisation is renamed or refactored, because the warehouse model documents what each field meant at the time it was used.

Does the sync handle SaaS Acumatica and private cloud or on-prem deployments equally?

SaaS Acumatica is the primary path, using the contract-based REST endpoints. For groups running Acumatica in a private cloud or on-prem, we connect through the same REST contracts where exposed, or fall back to the SQL layer for historical extracts. Either way the warehouse schema is the same.
