Bookboost connector for Data Panda

Bookboost is a hospitality CRM built around the guest, not the booking

Bookboost is a hotel CRM, customer data platform, and messaging suite built for independents and multi-property groups. The Malmö-based company was founded in 2016 by Willem Rabsztyn and Daan De Bruijn, and the platform now sits next to PMSs like Mews, Apaleo, Oracle Hospitality, ClockPMS+, and Shiji to give hoteliers one guest profile across every system.

Inside Bookboost you find five connected modules. The CDP cleans, deduplicates, and enriches guest profiles coming from the PMS and OTAs. Journey is a visual builder for pre-arrival, in-stay, and post-stay flows across email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Broadcasts handles one-shot campaigns with segmentation and A/B tests. The Unified Inbox pulls WhatsApp, email, SMS, web chat, and OTA messages from Booking.com and Expedia into a single conversation view. The Insights Platform reports on campaign ROI and guest behaviour. Optional add-ons cover a guest app for digital check-in and an AI agent for multilingual inquiries.

What you get once Bookboost is connected.

Guest value across stays

Deduplicated guest profiles joined to what every stay actually earned.

  • Repeat rate per property, segment and booking channel
  • Direct against OTA revenue for the same guest over time
  • Journey and broadcast performance measured on booked revenue

Journeys that read the whole picture

Let pre-arrival, in-stay and post-stay flows trigger on more than the PMS record.

  • Upsell offer sent only when room type and length of stay justify it
  • Post-stay review request skipped for a guest with an open service issue
  • Win-back flow for a guest who moved from direct booking to an OTA

AI workflows

Use stay history and conversation data to predict, not only to report.

  • Likelihood a first-time guest returns within twelve months
  • Themes in WhatsApp and email conversations grouped per property
  • Segments the CDP has not defined yet, found in the booking history

Custom apps on your data

Tools your front desk and revenue team open themselves.

  • A guest view combining profile, stay history and open conversations
  • A property dashboard for the weekly revenue meeting
  • A campaign planner showing the addressable segment before you send

Answers you will finally get.

What is a returning guest actually worth to us?

Bookboost deduplicates the profile, so the same guest across two properties and three booking channels is one person. Joined to what each stay billed and what the channel cost in commission, you get spend per guest over time rather than an average night rate that flattens the difference between a first-timer and a fifth visit.

Did that pre-arrival journey earn anything, or just get opened?

The journey send is matched to the bookings and upsells that followed it, per guest and per property. Open and click rates stay where they are useful, but the number the revenue meeting needs is booked revenue after the flow, and that only exists once the Bookboost activity and the billing data sit in the same place.

Are we pushing guests to OTAs without noticing?

A guest who booked direct last year and through an OTA this year shows up as one profile with two channels attached. Counted per property and per segment, the drift becomes a number with commission attached, which is a very different conversation from a general sense that direct bookings are slipping.

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Revenue per guest and per channel next to the commission each booking carried, so the cost of the OTA mix is a line rather than an estimate. Campaign spend in Bookboost lands beside the bookings that followed, which makes the marketing budget defensible at the monthly review.

For sales leaders

Revenue and reservations teams see which segments actually rebook and which upsell offers convert per room type and lead time. A corporate account that stopped booking shows up while there is still time to call, not in next quarter's occupancy report.

For operations

Message volume and response times per channel and per property sit next to the shift roster, so the front desk is staffed for when guests actually write. Service issues raised in the inbox are visible against the stays they belong to, which keeps a review request from going out to a guest who is still waiting on an answer.

What you can automate with Bookboost.

Pair with Mailchimp

Sync Bookboost segments into Mailchimp audiences

Push deduplicated guest segments from the Bookboost CDP into Mailchimp audiences nightly so the marketing team can run brand newsletters and win-back campaigns on the same definitions used inside Bookboost. Suppression lists, language preferences, and consent flags travel with the sync.

Pair with Klaviyo

Feed Klaviyo flows with Bookboost stay events

Stream check-in, check-out, and post-stay events from Bookboost into Klaviyo so flows trigger on actual stay milestones instead of estimated send dates. Lifetime stay metrics enrich the Klaviyo profile so segmentation by spend tier and visit frequency stays accurate.

Pair with HubSpot

Mirror Bookboost guests into HubSpot for group sales follow-up

Mirror corporate and group guests from Bookboost into HubSpot CRM with last stay date, total nights, and preferred property. The sales team picks up MICE and corporate accounts in their own pipeline without retyping anything from the PMS or CRM.

Pair with Exact Online

Reconcile Bookboost campaign cost with Exact Online

Pull Bookboost campaign and journey send volumes alongside SMS and WhatsApp gateway invoices booked in Exact Online. Finance gets a marketing cost per booked night and per property without piecing receipts together by hand.

Pair with Slack

Alert Slack when Bookboost inbox conversations escalate

Watch the Bookboost Unified Inbox for unanswered guest threads past a service-level threshold, complaint keywords, or VIP segment hits, and post a context-rich card to a Slack channel. The duty manager opens the conversation directly from the message.

Pair with monday.com

Track Bookboost campaign launches as monday.com tasks

Turn each new Bookboost broadcast or journey activation into a monday.com item so brand, ops, and revenue management see what is going out, to which segment, and when. The board updates with send results once the campaign closes.

From Bookboost to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Bookboost connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.
