Use your Deel data for reporting, automation and AI.

Data Panda brings your Deel workers, contracts, invoices and payroll runs into the same warehouse as your finance, sales and operations data. From one place we turn it into dashboards, automations, AI workflows and custom apps that finance, HR and group leadership use during the month, not the morning of a board meeting.

About Deel

The global hiring layer for companies that staffed up in fifteen countries before they had a finance entity in any of them.

Deel was founded in 2019 in San Francisco by Alex Bouaziz and Shuo Wang, went through Y Combinator the same year, and grew faster than any HR-tech company before it: from a contractor-payments tool into a full global payroll, Employer of Record (EOR) and contractor management platform. Public reporting puts the company past 700 million dollars in ARR by 2025, with operations in more than 150 countries and a workforce running into the thousands. The product covers three jobs that used to need three vendors: paying contractors anywhere in the world, hiring full-time employees through Deel's local entities when you do not have one yourself, and running global payroll for the entities you do have.

The customers we see on Deel almost never run it as their only HR system. It sits next to a domestic payroll provider for the home country, an HRIS like BambooHR or Workday for the people record, and a finance stack that has to absorb pay runs across a dozen currencies and as many tax regimes. The Deel API exposes the workers register (contractors and EOR employees alike), contracts, invoices, payments, time-off, expenses and equity grants. Pulled into a warehouse next to the HRIS, the GL and the CRM, that surface answers the questions Deel's own reports cannot: what does a London EOR engineer cost loaded against the Manila contractor doing the same role, where is the IC-misclassification risk concentrated by country and tenure, and which equity grants vested last quarter without finance booking the dilution.

What your Deel data is for

What you get once Deel is connected.

Global workforce and payroll reporting

Workers, pay runs, invoices and equity in one picture across every country and currency Deel touches.

  • Loaded cost per worker, country and currency with FX translation
  • Contractor-versus-EOR mix per role, team and tenure window
  • Pay-run totals reconciled with the finance ledger per entity

Process automation

Turn Deel events into the downstream work the rest of the stack expects without a per-country handoff.

  • Sync Deel workers into BambooHR or Workday so the people record stays one source
  • Post Deel pay-run journals into the GL per entity, country and cost centre
  • Trigger access provisioning the day an EOR contract is signed

AI workflows

Put contracts, invoices and country compliance history behind AI that reads global hiring as one picture.

  • Score IC-misclassification risk per role and country against tenure and scope
  • Forecast loaded cost when converting a contractor to an EOR employee
  • Natural-language Q&A on contracts, invoice line items and country tax notes

Custom apps on your data

Lightweight tools on Deel data for managers and group finance who should not need a Deel seat to read their own workforce.

  • Group-finance cockpit with EOR cost per country and currency variance
  • Manager view of contractor invoices, expenses and time-off per team
  • Equity-grant tracker tying vested shares back to finance dilution entries

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

What does the same engineering role really cost across the countries we hire in?

Loaded cost per worker built from the Deel pay-run, the employer taxes and benefits, the Deel platform fee and the FX rate that applied that month, broken out per country and currency. The CFO sees the gap between a Lisbon contractor, a London EOR engineer and a Manila contractor doing the same scope, before the next budget round picks the wrong baseline.

Where is our IC-misclassification risk concentrated?

Contractor tenure, scope, exclusivity and country plotted against the local independent-contractor test. Legal and HR see which long-tenure single-client contractors in the higher-risk countries should be moved to an EOR contract, instead of finding out in a post-hoc audit when the country rules tightened.

Did last quarter's equity grants get into the finance dilution view?

Equity grants from Deel for global hires lined up with the finance cap-table and dilution entries, with vesting cliffs and forfeitures per cohort. Group finance sees the grants that vested or were forfeited last quarter against what was booked in the ledger, so the dilution number stops trailing the people record.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Deel pay-run cost per entity, country and currency lined up with the GL and the budgeted FX rate. Group close stops waiting on a Deel CSV per country, and the personnel-cost line on the management report ties back to the worker record it came from.

For sales leaders

Equity grants and ramp dates for global sales hires next to the Salesforce pipeline and quota plan. Sales leadership sees which territory has a hire still in EOR onboarding limbo, and which reps just hit a vesting cliff that finance has not booked.

For operations

Contractors, EOR employees and time-off across all countries in one capacity picture. The COO sees which teams are running on too many single-client contractors in higher-risk jurisdictions, and where the EOR conversion queue is stuck.

Ideas

What you can automate with Deel.

Pair with BambooHR

Sync Deel workers into the BambooHR people record

EOR employees and contractors hired through Deel land in BambooHR as the same person record HR and managers already use, with start date, country, contract type and manager mirrored. The home-country HRIS stops being silent about half the workforce, and reports on headcount, span of control and onboarding completion cover the global team rather than just the people on a domestic contract.

Pair with Salesforce

Track sales-rep equity and ramp inside Salesforce

Equity grants, vesting cliffs and ramp dates from Deel land next to each rep in Salesforce, joined to quota plan and territory assignment. Sales leadership sees which AEs just crossed a one-year cliff, which reps are still ramping under an EOR contract, and which territories rely on a hire still stuck in onboarding, on the same screen the forecast call already runs on.

Pair with NetSuite

Post Deel pay-run journals into NetSuite per entity

Each pay period, Deel pay-run cost lands in NetSuite as journal entries in the right subsidiary, with country, currency, cost centre and worker type on the line. Group finance stops rekeying a Deel CSV per country, the personnel-cost line on the consolidation ties back to the Deel record that produced it, and FX translation runs on the same rate set the rest of the close uses.

Pair with Slack

Automate the global team-announce moments

New EOR hires, contractor onboardings, work anniversaries and approved time-off in Deel drive the right Slack messages into the right channels: a welcome post on day one in the team channel, an out-of-office note for the project channel, and a manager ping when an EOR contract has been waiting on a country-side step for more than five working days. People ops stops running a weekly announce queue across timezones by hand.

Three steps

From Deel to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Deel connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Which Deel tables land in the warehouse?

The connector pulls the Workers register (contractors and EOR employees alike), Contracts with their amendments, Invoices and Payments, Time-off, Expenses and Equity grants. That covers the reporting surface most finance, HR and operations dashboards need, with payroll-run details available where Deel exposes them per contract type and country. Authentication runs through a Deel API token scoped to your organisation.

Does the connector treat EOR employees and contractors the same way?

Both land in the same Workers register, with a contract-type field that lets the warehouse split them. The cost build-up is different (employer taxes, benefits and Deel platform fees on EOR; gross invoice plus platform fee on a contractor), so the loaded-cost calculation in the warehouse handles each path separately. That keeps the contractor-versus-EOR mix and conversion-cost analysis honest, instead of an apples-to-pears average.

How are sensitive worker fields handled at warehouse scale?

Compensation, bank-account identifiers and country-specific tax IDs can be kept in restricted schemas that only finance, HR and legal roles reach, while the Workers register, contracts and headcount data powers the dashboards the rest of the business uses. Access is enforced in the warehouse, not in each dashboard, so a new operations report cannot accidentally surface a salary or bank-account field it should not see.
