About Holded

The Spanish all-in-one book that covers six modules under one tenant.

Holded is the Barcelona cloud platform that runs accounting, invoicing, CRM, inventory, projects, treasury and HR for an SMB or freelancer from a single tenant, with Verifactu certification for AEAT submissions and a Spanish chart-of-account that maps to the Plan General Contable. Around eighty thousand companies in Spain and across Europe close their books, raise their invoices, track their stock and pay their teams in the same product, and a network of asesorías shares the file with the client rather than re-keying it. Since the 2021 acquisition by Visma, Holded sits inside the same European group as Yuki, Visma.net and a chain of country-specific books.

That bundle is what makes the warehouse pull worth doing. The same Holded tenant holds the invoice, the customer record, the product, the project margin and the supplier bill, but the storefront, the CRM the sales team quotes from, the payment processor, the marketplace and the bank live outside it. Pulling Holded into a warehouse lines up its invoices, contacts, products, projects and accounts next to Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot and Salesforce, so a Spanish SMB or a Visma-family group can run group reporting, project margin and AR aging on one set of numbers.

What your Holded data is for

What you get once Holded is connected.

Group and per-module reporting

One P&L, one DSO and one project-margin view across the Holded modules and the systems around them.

  • Group P&L across Holded entities and any non-Spanish ledger in the group, with FX intact
  • DSO and AR aging per client, even when the client buys through Shopify and through a direct invoice
  • Project margin quoted versus actual, built from Holded projects, invoices and supplier bills

Cross-system automation

Keep Holded in sync with the storefront, CRM and payment systems around it.

  • Salesforce or HubSpot closed-won pushed into Holded as customers and invoices on the right series
  • Stripe payouts and charges reconciled against Holded AR per client
  • Shopify orders and refunds posted into Holded with the right Spanish IVA code and warehouse

AI workflows

Use Holded history beyond the in-product automation Holded already ships.

  • Cash-collection forecasting on AR aging and historic payment behaviour per client
  • Anomaly detection on supplier bills booked outside the usual Plan General Contable code
  • Inventory reorder signals from Holded stock movements against Shopify and POS sell-through

Custom apps on your data

Internal tools on Holded data for people who should not need a Holded seat.

  • Founder cash dashboard with bank balance, runway and unpaid invoices on one screen
  • Project-manager workbench with quoted versus actual margin per active Holded project
  • Sales-ops tool that shows the Holded AR position next to the open HubSpot opportunity

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Does the warehouse pull stay aligned across the Holded modules?

The same Holded tenant holds the customer in CRM, the invoice in accounting, the SKU in inventory and the line in a project. The warehouse pull lands each of those as its own table with the original Holded id, so a customer record, an invoice and a project line tie back without inventing a key. If a sales-ops user edits the contact in CRM after invoicing, the warehouse copy follows on the next refresh and the AR view does not split.

Which projects are losing margin against quote?

Holded projects with their quoted budget on one side, and booked hours, materials and supplier bills on the other. Catches the project that is on track in the Holded view because most of the supplier bills land in the last week, and the project that quietly absorbed three change requests that were never re-quoted.

Where does the Holded inventory disagree with what Shopify and POS sold?

Stock movements out of Holded against Shopify orders, refunds and POS sell-through per SKU and warehouse. Useful when the Holded balance, the Shopify available count and the in-store register do not match, which usually shows up as oversold SKUs on Black Friday or as dead stock at the wrong location.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Group P&L, DSO and cash across Holded entities, refreshed daily and built on the same posted journals the asesoría files. The monthly close stops waiting on a Holded export and a manual merge with the storefront.

For sales leaders

Pipeline-to-invoice tracked from Salesforce or HubSpot through Holded invoices and AR. Sales sees which deal types pay slowest and which clients are over their credit limit before quoting again.

For operations

Project margin, inventory turn and supplier-spend by category on one board. Ops stops chasing the bookkeeper inside Holded for a list that the warehouse already has.

Ideas

What you can automate with Holded.

Pair with Stripe

Reconcile Stripe payouts against Holded AR

Stripe payouts and individual charges sit next to Holded AR in the warehouse, matched on customer, invoice and amount. The AR clerk stops chasing customers who already paid through Stripe, and the gap between Stripe gross, fees and the bank deposit lines up to the Holded posting before the next AEAT submission.

Pair with Shopify

Post Shopify orders into Holded with the right IVA

Shopify orders, refunds and gift-card movements push into Holded with the right Spanish IVA code, invoice series and warehouse mapping. Online sales land on the same Holded customer record as any direct invoice, so margin and repeat buyers are visible across channels and the inventory module reflects the storefront sell-through on the same day.

Pair with HubSpot

Hand HubSpot deals to Holded as customers and draft invoices

Closed-won HubSpot deals create or update Holded customers and prepare draft invoices on the right series, with the right IVA and project link. Marketing reports ROI against Holded invoiced and paid revenue, not against a deal-stage value that never invoices, and the founder sees AR exposure per HubSpot owner.

Pair with Salesforce

Tie Salesforce accounts to Holded customers and projects

Salesforce accounts and opportunities map to Holded customers and projects on one shared key. Closed-won deals open a Holded project on the right template and budget, and the Salesforce account view shows the live Holded AR balance, paid revenue and project-margin status next to the open pipeline.

Three steps

From Holded to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Holded connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Holded already covers accounting, CRM, inventory and projects. Why pull it into a warehouse?

Holded covers a lot under one tenant, but the storefront, the CRM the sales team quotes from, the payment processor, the marketplace and the bank still live outside it. Pulling Holded into a warehouse lines up its invoices, contacts, products, projects and accounts next to those external systems, so group reporting, project margin and AR aging run on one set of numbers instead of a Holded export plus a Shopify export plus a Stripe export reconciled at month-end.

We are in a Visma group running Holded in Spain and another Visma book elsewhere. Does the connector treat them differently?

Each Visma-family book has its own connector with its own object names. Holded lands as Holded invoices, contacts, projects and accounts; Yuki, Visma.net and the country-specific books land separately. A Visma-family group can run them side by side in the warehouse so a Spanish Holded entity and, for example, a Dutch Yuki entity report on one consolidated P&L without forcing either entity off its own book.
