About Poweroffice GO

Where Norwegian SMBs and their regnskapsbyraer keep the books.

Poweroffice was founded in Bodo in 1998 with the line dette ma kunne gjores bedre, and Poweroffice GO is the cloud product that grew out of that. The platform now serves more than 95,000 Norwegian businesses and 250,000 users across bookkeeping (bokforing), invoicing (faktura), payroll (lonn), time and absence tracking, travel and expenses, MVA reporting and Skattemelding ENK for sole proprietors. Bank reconciliation runs against every Norwegian bank, and Vipps is wired in for invoice payment out of the box.

The defining angle is the regnskapsbyra channel. A large share of Norwegian SMBs do not log in to Poweroffice GO themselves; their accountant does, manages dozens of client books from one workspace, and sends through MVA and A-melding for each one. For a Belgian group with a Norwegian subsidiary that runs through a Bodo or Oslo accounting firm, that is exactly where consolidation gets stuck. The books close cleanly inside the regnskapsbyra, but Brussels waits on a monthly PDF and re-keys NOK into the group ledger. The warehouse is where Poweroffice GO sits next to Exact Online or Yuki, and the group P&L stops being a manual merge against an accountant export.

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

How does the Norwegian entity show up on the same group P&L as Belgium when the books live at the regnskapsbyra?

Poweroffice GO lands in the warehouse next to Exact Online or Yuki with FX translated and the chart of accounts mapped, even when the actual logging happens at the accountant's office. Group consolidation becomes a daily view rather than a Bodo PDF the Brussels controller has to re-key once a month.

Are MVA codes consistent between Poweroffice GO and the Benelux books?

Norwegian MVA codes from Poweroffice GO are mapped against the Belgian and Dutch btw codes used in Exact Online or Yuki. Drift between entities (a Norwegian reverse-charge that lands as standard btw at group level, for instance) is flagged before the regnskapsbyra closes the period.

Can we see Poweroffice GO payroll cost next to the rest of the group's people cost?

Lonn data, A-melding-aligned cost categories and time entries come into the warehouse with the same employee and cost-centre IDs. So Norwegian people cost shows up in the group view alongside Belgian and Dutch payroll, instead of as a separate Excel from the Bodo accountant.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Group consolidation across Poweroffice GO, Exact Online and Yuki updated daily, with intercompany, FX and MVA handled. The regnskapsbyra still closes the Norwegian books, but month-end in Brussels stops being a re-keying exercise from a PDF.

For sales leaders

AR visibility per entity and per account before offering net-30 to a Norwegian customer. A deal in the Norwegian entity is judged on the same payment behaviour the Benelux books already show.

For operations

Lonn, A-melding cost categories and time entries on the same timeline as Benelux operations. Shared-services finance no longer guesses why the Bodo numbers drift from the group view.

Ideas

What you can automate with Poweroffice GO.

Pair with Shopify

Post Shopify orders into the Norwegian Poweroffice GO book

Shopify orders shipping to Norway land in Poweroffice GO as sales journal entries with MVA per rate, while orders shipping to the Benelux post to Exact Online or Yuki. Refunds flow back as credit notes in the right book. The regnskapsbyra in Bodo no longer asks for a weekly webshop export to reconcile the Norwegian sales line.

Pair with Stripe

Reconcile Stripe payouts against Poweroffice GO and Vipps

Stripe payouts in NOK and EUR are booked per Poweroffice GO client book, fees split out and the underlying charges matched to the invoice they paid (whether the customer paid via Stripe or via Vipps). The bank reconciliation screen stops showing multi-currency Stripe lumps that the regnskapsbyra has to break apart by hand.

Pair with HubSpot

Turn HubSpot deals into Poweroffice GO customers and invoices

Closed-won HubSpot deals create or update customers in the Norwegian Poweroffice GO book and prepare draft invoices with the right MVA coding. Sales sees Poweroffice GO payment history on the HubSpot record before offering net-30 to a Norwegian account that already pays late at the regnskapsbyra.

Pair with Klarna

Match Klarna settlements to Poweroffice GO invoices

Klarna settlements for Norwegian webshop orders are split into the underlying order, Klarna fee and FX line, then matched to the Poweroffice GO invoice they belong to. The Nordic merchant view shows what was settled per Klarna payout, instead of arriving at the regnskapsbyra as a monthly Klarna statement to manually allocate.

Three steps

From Poweroffice GO to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Poweroffice GO connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Does Poweroffice GO expose an API the warehouse can read from?

Yes. Poweroffice GO publishes a public API covering customers, suppliers, invoices, vouchers, accounts, employees and lonn data. We connect per Poweroffice GO client and pull each domain on a schedule, so the warehouse has yesterday's books available the moment finance walks in, even when the regnskapsbyra is still working on today's.

What if the books live at a regnskapsbyra and not in our own Poweroffice GO login?

It still works. We connect per Poweroffice GO client book with the credentials your accountant authorises, so the data flows whether you log in directly or the regnskapsbyra owns the workspace. The group view in Brussels updates from the same source the accountant is closing into.

Are MVA and A-melding figures available in the warehouse?

Yes. MVA codes, rates and reverse-charge indicators come across on every voucher, and lonn entries arrive with the cost categories used for A-melding. That makes the period totals a report the regnskapsbyra can sanity-check, and lets the group view spot drift between Norwegian and Benelux btw treatment before year-end.
