About Poweroffice GO
Where Norwegian SMBs and their regnskapsbyraer keep the books.
Poweroffice was founded in Bodo in 1998 with the line dette ma kunne gjores bedre, and Poweroffice GO is the cloud product that grew out of that. The platform now serves more than 95,000 Norwegian businesses and 250,000 users across bookkeeping (bokforing), invoicing (faktura), payroll (lonn), time and absence tracking, travel and expenses, MVA reporting and Skattemelding ENK for sole proprietors. Bank reconciliation runs against every Norwegian bank, and Vipps is wired in for invoice payment out of the box.
The defining angle is the regnskapsbyra channel. A large share of Norwegian SMBs do not log in to Poweroffice GO themselves; their accountant does, manages dozens of client books from one workspace, and sends through MVA and A-melding for each one. For a Belgian group with a Norwegian subsidiary that runs through a Bodo or Oslo accounting firm, that is exactly where consolidation gets stuck. The books close cleanly inside the regnskapsbyra, but Brussels waits on a monthly PDF and re-keys NOK into the group ledger. The warehouse is where Poweroffice GO sits next to Exact Online or Yuki, and the group P&L stops being a manual merge against an accountant export.
