About weclapp

The German cloud ERP that runs CRM and back-office in one place.

weclapp was founded in 2008 in Frankfurt and is built cloud-native from day one, not a legacy ERP shoved into a browser. Since September 2022 it sits inside the Exact Group, which gives Benelux teams a familiar parent and DACH teams a serious cloud option. The product covers what most growing businesses need under one login: CRM, quotes and sales orders, purchasing, articles and stock, manufacturing with bills of material and production orders, project management and accounting.

The reason to pull weclapp into a warehouse is not that the in-app reports are weak. It is that the questions worth asking cross modules and systems: stock turnover next to gross margin, sales orders versus actual cash collected, manufacturing cost on a production order versus the BOM that drove it, the webshop versus weclapp, weclapp versus the CRM your reps live in. Those questions end up in spreadsheets, and the spreadsheets always lose to the next release.

What your weclapp data is for

What you get once weclapp is connected.

Cross-module reporting

One picture of stock, sales, manufacturing and accounting instead of four weclapp exports stitched together.

  • Margin per article, customer and sales channel
  • Stock turnover and slow-moving SKUs per warehouse
  • Production-order cost versus the BOM that drove it

External-system automation

Keep weclapp in sync with the systems around it, without writing the same webhook over and over.

  • Shopify orders into weclapp sales orders and stock
  • HubSpot or Salesforce wins into weclapp quotes and sales orders
  • Group postings from weclapp into Exact Online for Benelux entities

AI workflows

Turn weclapp history into forecasts and scoring on data your team already trusts.

  • Demand forecasting on article movement and lead times
  • Credit-risk scoring on customer payment history
  • AI assist on supplier matching and article categorisation

Custom apps on your data

Small tools on top of weclapp data for people who should not need a weclapp licence.

  • Sales-rep view with stock availability and pricing
  • Supplier portal with open POs, receipts and payments
  • Project profitability for project leads without a weclapp seat

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

Why does the production-order cost never match the BOM we quoted on?

Standard BOM cost next to actual production-order cost, line by line, with the variance broken by article, work centre and posting date. The substitution, the late goods receipt or the changed routing driving the gap shows up by name, instead of being hidden inside a single manufacturing variance figure.

Which articles are quietly killing margin after taxes and discounts?

Gross margin per article over time, after purchase cost, freight, applicable taxes and the discount stack from your price lists. Slow-moving articles and discount-heavy SKUs sit ranked together, so reorder decisions stop relying on revenue alone.

How long between a sales order and a paid invoice?

Sales order date to delivery to sales invoice to payment, per customer and article group, with elapsed days at each hop. The hop where the cycle stretches becomes obvious, instead of being averaged out into a single days-sales-outstanding number.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Group consolidation across weclapp companies, AR and AP aging next to cash, and a stock-versus-GL tie-out that does not wait for the month-end close. The variance lands on the dashboard the day it happens, not in the close week.

For sales leaders

Quote-to-order-to-cash velocity per rep, channel and article group, with stock availability and credit limit visible at quote time. Sales stops promising delivery dates the warehouse cannot keep.

For operations

Stock turnover, BOM cost variance and supplier lead time in one picture. The custom fields the team built for the shop floor join back to standard weclapp data, so site reports survive the next release.

Ideas

What you can automate with weclapp.

Pair with Shopify

Sync Shopify orders into weclapp sales and stock

Shopify orders land in weclapp as sales orders with the right articles, warehouse, taxes and price list. Stock movements and delivery notes follow, and refunds post as credit notes. Inventory stays in one ledger and the webshop sits in the same P&L as the rest of the business.

Pair with HubSpot

Turn HubSpot deals into weclapp quotes and sales orders

HubSpot deals that reach closed-won create draft quotes or sales orders in weclapp, with customer and contact records aligned. Order status, delivery and invoice state flow back to the HubSpot deal, so sales sees the fulfilment side without logging into weclapp.

Pair with Salesforce

Push Salesforce opportunities into weclapp quotes

Closed-won opportunities in Salesforce create matching quotes or sales orders in weclapp, with the account, contact and price-book selection aligned. Invoice status and shipment data flow back to the opportunity, so account executives stop chasing operations in chat for delivery dates.

Pair with Exact Online

Bridge weclapp with Exact Online for Benelux entities

Sales invoices, purchase invoices and journal postings from a weclapp company flow into the matching Exact Online administration on the Benelux side, with article, customer and ledger account mapping kept in one place. Group finance gets one consolidated view across DACH-on-weclapp and Benelux-on-Exact, without rekeying month-end.

Pair with Slack

Push weclapp signals into the right Slack channel

New high-value sales orders, late shipments, stock-outs on A-articles and overdue invoices land in the relevant Slack channel with a direct deep-link into weclapp. The team sees the signal where they already work, instead of opening weclapp on a hunch.

Pair with monday.com

Mirror weclapp projects into monday.com boards

weclapp projects, milestones and time entries mirror into monday.com boards, so delivery teams plan in their own tool while finance keeps the source of truth in weclapp. Status and budget consumption flow back, so a project board never disagrees with what the project ledger says.

Three steps

From weclapp to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • weclapp connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Does the connector handle the weclapp REST API and the newer v2 endpoints?

Yes. The connector talks to the weclapp REST API for entities such as customer (and the consolidated party endpoint), salesOrder, salesInvoice, purchaseOrder, article, manufacturingOrder and accountingTransaction. Where v2 has consolidated objects we map both shapes back to one warehouse model, so reports keep working when weclapp moves a field from one endpoint to another.

weclapp is now part of the Exact Group. Does that change anything for our reporting?

Not for the connector itself. weclapp continues to ship its own product and API, so the warehouse model stays stable. Where it does help is the Benelux-plus-DACH group case: a single warehouse can join a weclapp company in Germany with an Exact Online administration in Belgium or the Netherlands, so consolidated finance reports do not depend on a manual export from either side.

We use weclapp for manufacturing with BOMs and production orders. Does that come across in full?

Yes. Articles, bills of material, production orders and the related stock movements come across as first-class tables in the warehouse. Standard BOM cost sits next to actual production-order cost in the model, so variance reporting per article, work centre and posting date works without an extra extract or a custom report inside weclapp.
