About Xero

The international accounting tool the rest of your group uses.

Xero was founded in Wellington in 2006 and has grown into the cloud accounting platform of choice for small and medium businesses across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and beyond, with over 3.5 million subscribers. It covers bank feeds, invoicing, AP, expense claims, fixed assets and multi-currency out of the box, and is deeply localised in each market it serves.

The point of pulling Xero into a warehouse is that Benelux groups with international subsidiaries almost always run Exact Online or Yuki in Belgium and the Netherlands and Xero in the UK or ANZ entity. Consolidated reporting then depends on a monthly export that no one owns. In a warehouse, Xero sits as a first-class source next to the Benelux accounting platforms and the commercial stack, and the group P&L becomes a view instead of a spreadsheet.

Real business questions

Answers you will finally get.

What does the consolidated group P&L look like today, not in three weeks?

Each Xero organisation and each Benelux accounting entity lands in the warehouse daily, with FX translated per Xero's own rates. Consolidation becomes a view that is ready the moment the local books close, not a manual monthly merge.

Which subsidiary is carrying risk the group has not noticed?

Per-subsidiary AR aging, DSO trend and gross margin on one timeline. Flags the subsidiary whose number is drifting ahead of the group average, before it becomes a year-end discussion.

Are intercompany balances still in step?

Intercompany receivables and payables compared across the Xero organisations and the Benelux accounting tools, with mismatch reasons suggested. The intercompany conversation stops being a spreadsheet battle at month end.

Value for everyone in the organisation

Where each function gets value.

For finance leaders

Group consolidation across Xero, Exact Online and Yuki updated daily, with intercompany and FX handled. Month-end becomes a review, not a merge.

For sales leaders

AR visibility per subsidiary and per account before offering new credit cross-border. A deal in the UK subsidiary is judged on the same customer-payment behaviour visible in the Benelux books.

For operations

Cross-entity cost centre and payroll detail, with bank-reconciliation match rate per organisation. Shared-services finance stops guessing which subsidiary is behind.

Ideas

What you can automate with Xero.

Pair with Shopify

Route Shopify orders into the right Xero organisation

Shopify orders land in the Xero entity that owns the shipping country, with VAT or GST handled per jurisdiction and refunds posting as credit notes. Groups with a UK Shopify and Benelux ops stop keying orders twice.

Pair with Stripe

Reconcile Stripe payouts per Xero organisation

Stripe payouts are booked per Xero organisation with fees separated and the underlying charges matched to the Xero invoices they paid. Multi-currency payout cycles stop creating reconciliation tickets across two finance teams.

Pair with HubSpot

Sync HubSpot contacts with Xero customers

Customer and supplier contacts stay aligned between HubSpot and each Xero organisation, with VAT and GST numbers, payment terms and credit status consistent. Sales sees Xero payment history on the HubSpot record before offering net-30 abroad.

Pair with Exact Online

Consolidate Xero subsidiaries with an Exact Online parent

For groups running Xero in UK or ANZ and Exact Online at the Benelux parent, chart of accounts is aligned and journal totals roll up to the Benelux books. One consolidated P&L, no monthly merge.

Three steps

From Xero to answers in three steps.

01

Connect securely

OAuth authentication. Read-only by default. We sign a DPA and your admin keeps the keys.

02

Land in your warehouse

Data flows into your warehouse on your schedule. Near real time or nightly, your call. You own the data.

03

Reporting, automation, AI

We build the first dashboard, workflow or AI feature with you, then hand over the keys. Or we stay on for ongoing delivery.

Two ways to work with us

Pick the track that fits how you work.

Track 01

Self-serve

We set up the foundation. Your team builds on top.

  • Xero connector configured and running
  • Warehouse set up in your cloud account
  • Clean access for your Power BI, Fabric or Tableau team
  • Documentation on what's in the data model
  • Sync monitoring so you're warned before reports break

Best fit Teams that already have a BI analyst or data engineer and want to own the build.

Track 02

Done for you

We build the whole thing, end to end.

  • Everything in Self-serve
  • Dashboards built to the questions your team actually asks
  • Automations between your systems
  • AI workflows scoped to real tasks your team runs
  • Custom apps where a dashboard does not cut it
  • Ongoing delivery at a pace that fits your team

Best fit Teams without in-house BI or dev capacity. You tell us what you need and we deliver it.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions.

Who owns the data?

You do. It lands in your warehouse, on your cloud account. We don't resell or aggregate it. If you stop working with us, the warehouse stays yours and keeps running.

How fresh is the data?

Near real time for most operational systems. For heavier sources we schedule hourly or nightly. You pick based on what the reports need.

Do I need a warehouse already?

No. If you don't have one, we help you pick one and set it up as part of the first delivery. Common starting points are Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a small Postgres start.

Does the sync cover multiple Xero organisations?

Yes. Each Xero organisation lands in its own schema with a shared customer and chart-of-accounts dimension on top. Groups running different entities in UK, ANZ or the US get per-entity reporting and a consolidated view at group level without merging data by hand.

Are local VAT, GST and tax rates handled?

Yes. Xero's tax rates, regions and return periods come across as first-class fields. UK VAT, Australian GST, and local jurisdictions each get period-level totals that match the filing, so finance does not re-derive the number from an export.
